Water Falling over Rocks 2.
In a forest somewhere in central Vermont. It’s been a few years. I don’t remember exactly where.
Update: Just did a Flickr search on “waterfall vermont.” Looks like this is Texas Falls, near Hancock VT.

Monument to the union of Ukraine with Russia, “Together Forever”
Seen in Pereiaslav-Khmelnytskyi, a sleepy little town of about 28,000, who’s main claim to fame, or infamy, depending on one’s point of view, is that this is where the Treaty of Perelaslav was signed in 1654 at a meeting between the council of Zaporozhian Cossacks and Vasiliy Buturlin, representative of Tsar Alexey I of the Tsardom of Russia, during the Khmelnytsky Uprising.
The outcome of the treaty differed from Khmelnytsky’s intentions; originally a political maneuver intended only to secure the support of powerful allies, it revealed the full extent of its far-reaching consequences over time. Major results of the treaty included the separation of Ukraine from formerly dominant Catholic Poland, re-strengthening of Orthodoxy in the historic center of Ukraine, and the eventual domination of Ukraine by Russia.
